Completed Scheduled Maintenance: November 9, 2022

Hello Maplers,

We will be performing Scheduled Maintenance on Wednesday, November 9. It will last approximately 1 hour. Upon completion, the game will be brought back online and service will be restored. Once restored, you can log in and play!

Time:
5:50 PM server time
(6:50 PM CET)

What will be unavailable:

• All MapleLegends game servers and channels
• Merchants will be closed
• In-game name change requests using @changeign are automatically processed

Changes and Updates:

• Addressing bugs and glitches reported since the last maintenance

Here are the changelogs for now

- Monsters should no longer get stuck due to invalid quest completion data being checked for.
- Fixed a bug that caused monsters immune/resistant against Poison to be targetable by Venom, while monsters weak to it were not affected.
- **Butler PQ:**
- Ghosts in the last stage are no longer affected by Poison.
- All players should now correctly get kicked out once the timer runs out.
- Shadow Partner can no longer be used.
- Attempting to view the nonexistant white color of Button Doll Face from Plastic Roy will no longer disconnect the client.
- Button Doll Face will default to its black color version, when scrolling white color options.
- Fixed an invalid message length check that would disconnect players from minirooms (Hired Merchant, Permit, Minigames).
- Fixed a bug that would sometimes cause the Crystal to not appear after defeating a Neo Tokyo boss.`

Something extremely annoying about the past bugs are the fact they are extremely inconsistent to trigger. Unfortunately, a lot of the bugs dragged on and on and as such, we went out of schedule soon enough.

I really consider just putting "whenever it's done" on all the maintenance we do, and not only the patch maintenance like it is now. We want to take our time, and every time there are more annoying issues that drag things further than initially thought.
