    With the Anniversary Patch comes quite a bit of change. Some balancing ones too, so prepare your pitchforks.

    Some changes may be forgotten and get added later.

    Login Changes:

    - Bugs that made the 'Highly Populated' tag no longer appear has been fixed.
    - An 8th Channel has been added.

    Bug Fixes:
    - Multiple implementations added that hopefully fix 'permanent debuff' and 'wrong position' res bugs. Please let us know if it still occurs.
    - Trading one of a kind items now properly fails, instead of trading the item and it disappearing.
    - Zombie Ring expiry date corrected to June 4th, 2020.

    General Changes:
    - Each unique person can now only enter a boss battle on 1 character at a time (applies to Zak, HT, and Scar only - for now)*
    - There is now a 1-minute cooldown between each megaphone usage. Please be thoughtful before using megaphones; not for conversations, and especially not for calling out users or general beef.
    - Bartol, in "Nautilus: Mid Floor - Hallway", will now sell Warp Cards, to quickly travel between Nautilus Harbor and Omega Sector, after you have completed his "Bartol's Request" quest.
    - All current Witch's Special Stew's in the server has received an expiration of 6 months starting now.
    - Weather buffs (eg. party bears) adjusted to 12 wa / 15 ma for 10 minutes.
    - Victoria's Amorian Baskets can now stack up to 5 per slot.
    - Ciders can now stack up to 5 per slot.
    - Triangular Sushi made purchasable at Ishirasu in Ninja Castle.
    - Diamond Arrows can now stack up to 2000 per slot (up from 1000).
    - Bjorn Cash Mount has been removed due to map crash problems. Everyone that had one (60 users) has been refunded.
    - Umi needs money questline is now 1m mesos instead of 5m.
    - When using !mapowner command in a map not owned by anyone, the minimum level for ownership claiming will be displayed. It will appear red if you're unable to gain ownership, or blue if you're able to.
    - A complete overhaul of the /find command. Now you can find people cross-channel without being on their channel, and more.
    - A complete overhaul of the saving/database system for performance improvements.

    Skill Changes:
    [Assassin - Critical Throw] success rate: 50% >>> 25%, critical damage: 200% >>> 350% (buff to SE-less damage).
    [Hermit - Alchemist] bonus duration: 150% >>> 125%.
    [Chief Bandit - Assaulter] delay between uses: 600ms >>> 300ms.
    [Shadower - Assassinate] corrected damage values before level 30.

    [Bishop - Resurrection] casting the skill without affecting any player will now put it on 10 seconds cooldown, rather than the full duration.

    [Sniper - Strafe] damage per arrow: 110% >>> 75%, number of hits: 4 >>> 5 (won't affect Hunter's Strafe).
    [Marksman - Marksman Boost] mastery: 90% >>> 95%, weapon attack: +10 >>> +15.
    [Bowmaster - Concentrate] reverted to 6 minutes cooldown and 240 seconds duration.

    [Gunslinger - Recoil Shot] delay between uses: 2 seconds >>> 1 second.
    [Corsair - Battleship Cannon] damage: 380% >>> 400%.

    Mob Changes:
    - Mobs in Neo Tokyo now drop mesos.
    - Mobs in Neo Tokyo have a noticeably higher chance to drop crafting materials and other drops.
    - Debuff duration and chance reduced for Neo Tokyo mobs and Dukus.
    - Increased drop rate of equips and card from Krexel.
    - Change Krexel mobs spawning from Dark Wyverns to Dukus.
    - Bugfix for Horntail attacks not being map-wide.
    - Anti-botting mobs now are level 10 so they no longer affect the mapowner level rule.

    *Probably the most impacting change is the multiclient check at bosses. For now, it's experimental, so it may get reverted. Users as much as ourselves have noticed the increase meta of users using multiple mule characters, or even main characters to get inside bosses, and the number is getting higher and higher.

    This is a problem we also noticed at the top server: Users getting less and less accepted into boss battles because they have their own character and slot already filled. With the massive user increase, we feel that having the server boss runs stamped with mules is not healthy for the server, now, and in the long run.

    By blocking multiple characters from the same person getting inside boss battles we hope users, especially newer ones, get more accepted into runs again, since their slot is more appreciated again, and needed. We are completely aware we have very dedicated users around that dedicated a new mule just for this purpose, but even with this change we feel those do not go in waste, since they can still enter runs without their main character, or PQ runs (eg. CWKPQ remains untouched).

    We'll carefully observe the changes and see if tweaks or improvements need to be made, and if the change is for the better or worse.

    Before I end this I want to get it out of the way, quickly, that the recent feedback thread about this very same topic is NOT the reason this change has been made. It was purely coincidence, and we already had this change prepared. We thank you for understanding and appreciate if you let us observe the changes without immediately going on an insane rampage.

    Can the staff clarify what is categorised as "boss battle", as the "CWKPQ remains untouched" kinds of confusing me?
    Ht, zak, cwkpq, Captain Latanica, papu, area mini-bosses, and other pq bosses? Thanks

    it should only HT, i think, because only from there is mesos taken at the end of the game, NT should remain multiclient intact to motivate bossing

    Should add NT to the no mule list as well. Otherwise people just bring HB mules and completely replace need for DK. Don't see how that's fair in NT but not fair for other classes trying to get into HT.

    Can you elaborate on this a little more? From what i'm understanding, each unique person can not enter HT with more than 1 character, whether that is with 1 or 2 computers. Some of the people I was talking to is assuming that they can use a separate computer to enter into the same HT as their main attacker. If the latter is true, it'll be highly unfair for those who only own 1 computer. Just wanted to confirm.

    A few questions regarding this statement.

    Say that there are two groups of HT going on. I have a bucc and a corsair. With this change, am I able to HT with 1 group on my corsair and use my bucc to SI my friends in the other group at the same time on the same computer?

    Also, am I able to do the above using two different computers?

    If I were to use two different computers, would I be able to bring my Bucc on the same run as my corsair?

    Also, does the above apply to different combinations of HT / ZAK / Scar?

    Also, since the above does not apply to cwkpq, would it be legal for me to HT and CWKPQ at the same time using 2 different computers?

    Are we gonna guess how the non-multiclient for bossing mechanics work or it’ll be “transparently” explained to us? What are actually the steps being taken to prevent people from using multiple computers/VPN to bypass this “check”? It will be a controversial topic so we might as well be transparent upfront?

    Also, I think its better to consider disincentivizing muling rather than a complete blanket ban over multiclienting for bossing? This change is super drastic considering the lack of discussion over it. We only had one thread and about a week of conversation from it and it was implemented.

    Immediate concerns:
    1. Looting Zak helm/HTP/Scar/Targa helm for your own characters
    2. Looting cards for your own characters
    3. Imbalanced class demand.
    Eg: There’s a lack of buccs to bring on runs now that multiclienting is disallowed.

    it's gonna be interesting, but the advantage users with 2 or more computers get over 1 computer users shouldn't be ignored. If this change is about fairness then the correct interpretation for "Each unique person can now only enter a boss battle on 1 character at a time" can only mean that it's not allowed to join a boss runs with multiple characters on multiple computers right?

    So happy for warp cards and sushis for the DK folk~

    However...I must voice my complains
    While i completely understand and approve of the buff that Snipers deserve.

    Changing Strafe to 5 hits instead of 4 or even 6 like the latter Ultimate Strafe skill that they got in GMS feels absurdly OFF to me
    Strafe has always been known to be 4 arrows...it's literally the same reason hermits love shadow partner, the 4 hits feel satisfying ,it's nostalgic..
    5 arrows is such an odd number that it's uncomfortable
    Not to mention that Archers are already having troubles with monster's defense and strafe low base damage (level 1 Strafe is debatably worse than Double Arrow)
    3rd job archers dont max Strafe until quite late and then this change only buffs the funded Marksmans who already dont care about the damage reduction.

    I dont know how you're implementing this, but please change Strafe, im not asking to be reverted, but it has to be a bit more thought through other than numbers (which btw, good work on that)
    Marksman late game is not everything and like i said 5 arrows will just destroy any nostalgia, is a BIG change

    The server is essentially backed by the idea of no Pay2win, but if youre able to use 2 computers to enter into the same HT that's essentially Pay2Win.

    Defense is reduced only from base damage, before skill multipliers are applied. In fact, the buff to Marksman Boost (which directly increases damage range) makes them (very slightly) less susceptible to defense.

    It seems to me a good balance, but I see the buccaneer on your boards and I feel sad (low dpm) despite the improvements they gave them, playing 2 years in bucc I saw those changes, I proposed modifying the stun masteri to an additional constant critical% to enhance them in bosses, they told me that it is impossible, I do good damage training used SE to the second hit by the stun but in HT or other bosses I am a simple pirate who only use my clean damage base for a difference of a DK the % that a critical using SE in barrange or other attack is too low.
    On the other hand, it motivates me to continue breaking schemes with my pirate on the server and show them that a buccaneer can also get whites if he wants to.

    I don't like this change cause it means people have no reason to ever use the boat from Vic>Orbis. There should at least be some restriction on this like a max of 1 card purchase a week or something.

    I get why you would want to nerf bears cause they make rage less valuable but why make them worse than coke pills lol.

    B-b-but what about the LORE?!?!??! They don't drop mesos cause they drop FUTURE CURRENCY which is the NT coins!!!!

    If you're doing this can you also change Ravana to summon Golden Temple mobs instead of PPQ Captains.

    Does this mean you can still enter 2 different HT runs on 2 different characters at the same time?

    Also related, is using multiple computers to circumvent this multiclient check bannable?

    If it makes you feel any better, not that everyone else has to use coke pill instead of bear, you can actually interpret this as a buff. Old concentrate was effectively 23.25atk bonus (using coke pill on cd), with new concentrate it is now 22.3atk bonus, so not much has changed tbh.
