Update Client Patch Notes (16-02-2020) (1.2)

Hello,

Our client .dll has been updated to version 1.2. This is the second major release since the first version we released the HD client. Here are most of the patch notes:

New .ini features

- StartInCenter

Starting this version you can enable or disable the client starting at the center. While not many asked to disable it, now you can. Putting it on disable will start the client in the top left corner. This also needs to be disabled in order to...

- RememberClosePos

Annoyed how at each client bootup you had to put your window at your favourite location? Not anymore! Enabling this setting allows the client to boot up at the position you last closed it (updates every 10 seconds). Do note you need StartInCenter disabled in order to use this. This is saved for each computer only.

New features non-ini related

- Additional character support! You can now use characters such as á é í ó ú à è ë in-game similar to MapleStory Europe for our European friends and other*
- The chatbar in-game no longer erase old messages** (Demo from discord: Click)
- You can now maximize and minimize the game client
- Alliances now show up in user profiles (Demo: Click)
- Map camera boundaries can now be modified on the fly (by me). The following maps have been fixed already since:

If you notice any maps with janky ass camera angles after this patch let me know!

*You cannot create new names with these new characters
**It will still erase when logging out

Bug fixes

- Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash when taking a screenshot on OS's below 10 since our complete re-code of the screenshot feature
- Fixed a bug that caused the game client to crash from time to time when booting the game or going into the Cash Shop in HD mode
- Fixed a bug that caused the screenshot location setting to be ignored
- Re-fixed the bug where the max EXP on display is 99.98% instead of 99.99%
- Fixed a silly 'off by 1' bug related to Change Channel window old | new
- Tweaks made into the client that should heavily help to stop completely GFX issues on Windows 10. Other OS's already don't have GFX problems
- Completely refactored the codebase of the .dll
